Description

This LuxAura area rug is built for the part of a room people actually sit in: under a coffee table, in front of a sofa, or running along the foot of a bed. The warm Nordic palette pulls a seating arrangement together visually, and at 80x120cm and 80x160cm it covers the space between furniture without needing to be tucked under it. A rug of this width also visually anchors a sofa and armchairs into a single group rather than leaving them floating.

The skin-friendly suede surface is soft enough to sit on directly, with a short dense pile that resists crushing where chair legs and feet land repeatedly. Checkerboard and agarwood-inspired patterns are available in light luxury and daylight colourways, all of them muted enough to work with existing furniture rather than fighting it for attention. Suede-finished surfaces hide light marking better than a high-sheen pile, which is worth knowing in a room that gets daily use.

It is easy to keep clean, which matters in a living room: vacuum on a low setting and spot clean spills promptly rather than saturating the pile. On timber, tile or vinyl, use a non-slip underlay, since a rug that moves underfoot is a genuine trip hazard. Lay it flat on a dry floor and let creases settle before walking on it.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size room does it suit?

It is scaled for a main living area, sitting under the front legs of your sofa and chairs to pull the setting together.

How does it feel underfoot?

Plush and soft, with enough density that it feels substantial rather than thin.

Is it easy to keep clean?

Yes. Regular vacuuming keeps the pile lifted, and spot cleaning with a damp cloth handles everyday marks.

Will it suit warm or cool interiors?

Both. The neutral palette was chosen to sit comfortably beside oak and rattan as well as grey and black steel.

Does it shed?

A little loose fibre may appear at first, which is normal. It settles quickly with a few vacuums.
